Some elements on the model, such as roads, watercourses and cabins, have been emphasized to facilitate recognition. Therefore, they are not always shown in the exact scale, and small differences compared to their real location are possible. Where possible, the entire surface of a glacier is coloured. As a result, dark, debris-covered parts have also been coloured. Since the exact location of watercourses, trails and high alpine routes are influenced by external factors, these are given as an indication.
Use
The models are only suitable for indoor display. Outdoor weather conditions will have a negative impact on the quality of the model.
Keep the mountains clean!
Just as you take all your trash back down into the valley ensuring that everyone can enjoy the mountains, you should likewise take care of your model:
- The model is not scratch resistant, both blunt and sharp objects will leave marks.
- Prolonged exposure to direct sunlight can cause the colours to fade.
- Remove dust with a soft brush or simply by blowing.
- Wipe the wooden box with a soft cloth.
- Do not use water to clean the model.
